Online registration for doctoral candidates at the Doctoral Center of HKE Hochschule Kempten University of Applied Sciences

Please note:

• docDaten is not an application platform.
• Please only register if you have already obtained an agreement with a professor willing to supervise your doctoral project.
• If you are still searching for a supervisor, you can find further information on the website of the HKE Graduate Center.
• Registration on docDaten is the first step towards addmision to a doctorate. Please make sure that data you enter is correct, it will be used in the admission procedure.
• docDaten guides you step-by-step through the data entry process. You will find explanations next to the entry fields.
• Please have your resume and certificates at hand so that the registration form can be filled out quickly.

Procedure:

• Enter your data – submit registration.
• You can interrupt the registration process at any time, save it temporarily and call it up again within 14 days. You will receive a link to continue the registration process at the e-mail address you entered. If the registration is not continued, the temporarily stored data will be automatically deleted after 14 days.
• Once the registration has been completed, you will receive two e-mail notifications. The first e-mail provides information on how to log in to docDaten. The second e-mail contains a link to download your application form for addmision to the doctorate.
• Please fill out the application form and hand it in with the required signatures and documents at the office of your Doctoral Center (see application form for address).

Note:

Registration with docDaten does not constitute an application for admission to doctorate in accordance with § 6 of the Framework Doctoral Regulations (PromO) of HKE Hochschule Kempten University of Applied Sciences, dated December 2, 2024. Registration alone does not confer the right to receive supervision by a person authorised to supervise within the meaning of § 6 PromO for a doctoral project, nor does it confer any entitlement to any other services from HKE Hochschule Kempten University of Applied Sciences in connection with a doctoral procedure. The doctoral procedure is governed solely by the provisions of the Bavarian Higher Education Innovation Act (Bayerisches Hochschulinnovationsgesetz), the provisions of the relevant Framework and Subject-Specific Doctoral Regulations and any agreements with the supervisor.
